Yes boyos it's true, it's a snake in south america I believe, non-venomous; however it uses I think from what I (please forgive me, was on national geographic 4-5 years ago?) heard is like a ribbed skin from neck to tail that foils out making it glide instead. Sorta like the frills of cobra just all the way down it's body.
