Yes there is--how about not packing them up because you think they can survive the short trip out of the box sitting propped up in the passenger seat, and then you hit the brakes too hard and one falls over?

OK. There is that. :lecture

yup, i know how you feel.

I will be moving soon as well, so I'll be listing some stuff here to get rid off :(

... than having to pack-up all of your Sideshow pieces when you move. :monkey2

Yeah, I have something much sadder...

How about having to keep 90% of your Sideshow items boxed and in storage while going through a divorce, living at your Dad's and figuring out where you're going to live when it's all overwith? :monkey1

That said, it is kinda exciting... starting over with complete freedom knowing that I will soon be scouring for a new place that is all MINE and that I can decorate as I see fit.

Now, the only real puzzle for me to solve... Where to: California or New England?

yup.
.. just recently went thru a big move.
most of mine are still boxed up while I try to find time somehow to prep the room for them.

I need 48hrs in each day

If you come to New England, we should meet up for a Sox game :rock

No doubt. I'd be all over that! They've been my favorite MLB team for a while anyway. :rock :rock :rock

well, the advantage of california, close to san diego is that sideshow is there!!
True. But I'd better come up with better deciding factors than just getting my Sideshow goodies earlier. :lol

I'm starting to pack everything up because I'll be moving soon. I don't have a place yet, but if I pack 5 pieces a night I'll be ready to move by 2010. Of course I have to go visit my storage units to retrieve all the boxes too.

Yup. I'm with you on that one.

Ever been to Fenway? If not, it's such an awesome experience, I don't care what seats you get, just the energy of being in that part of Boston on game day is worth the trip.

If it makes you feel any better Marc, at least your collection is going with you and you don't have to sell it off, I think having to let go of your collection would be a pretty rought feeling. Granted they're only posessions and there are more important things in life, for me, my collection and being a collector is such a part of who I am, I'd feel like I lost a part of myself if I lost my collection.
