Nothing Sadder...

Ever been to Fenway? If not, it's such an awesome experience, I don't care what seats you get, just the energy of being in that part of Boston on game day is worth the trip.
Nope. Never been and I can't wait. I imagine it being the baseball equivalent of seeing a game in Notre Dame stadium (which I have obviously done many times... and it never gets any less spine-tingling).

Nothing sadder than having my childhood raped repeatedly by all the f'n remakes Hollywood keeps s#itting out. :lol

I moved last year Pix into my old great-grandmother's house (literally one house seperates mine from my grandmother's now) and I had to pack up the whole collection. Not just Sideshow, but the countless other toys ranging from NECA and McFarlane, Hasbro and Mattel, and even my Fisher Price and other childhood toys (don't give that crap away, I loved my dad's old toys and I'm sure when I have children they will love mine too).

Luckily I only moved a few miles and the only casuality was that Der Kinderstod had a small amount of paint rubbed off his nose. Luckily the plastic underneath is the same color and is only visable when closely (very closely) examed.

Best of luck with your move. When in doubt, pack with newspaper and label "Fragile!" Also, it may be a pain to do, but label EVERYTHING you put in a box (on the outside of the box). It makes finding things later so much easier (especially if some of it will be going into storage). I also suggest getting a bunch of zip lock bags and putting any figure's accessories in them (with labels of course) and then tossing them in the moving boxes.

Why is everyone suddenly moving? Is there something going on that I don't know?

life happens. i just talked to my mom and she may be moving to florida on a permanent basis. my grandmother died and my mom wants to be closer to the rest of the family in florida. i LOVE colorado, and may not be making the move with her. it's nice to visit in small doses, but it's too hot for my tastes.

if i can arrange to share a rental with a buddy, i'm going to stay. or else it's florida for now, and then back to colorado soon. life happens, and most of the time it sucks! :monkey2

I'm actually not moving this year... and thats a nice change. I packed up my collection and my fiance packed up the rest of the house. And I still think I spent more time working on it :lol

It was literally ridiculous how much crap I've amassed in my collection :monkey4

Us three (although I think there is another one or two others) Utah members really ought to hook up sometime. I know Pix and I are so close we've probably run into eachother before and not known it, and BYU isn't that far away either.
