My witchking is still worth more than these. This is all that people are willing to pay for them on ebay. So once the ebay supply dries up...

It's people trying to sell off their statues because the line has ended, and they're trying to make the quick buck on this event. seems there are too many of them doing it for their own good!

BUY BUY BUY!!!!

Trend

I think this is how things will go from now on.I hav'nt looked at e-bay for a long time but last night I did and was quite shocked by the drop in ALL the statues prices.Yes some people may panic and sell for low prices at the moment, but the fact is that other stuff is coming along now to get people excited.Of course things will dry up,but once everyone has what they want..there won't be anyone left,or anyone interested enough to carry on searching.I was watching a auction for a WIKI here in the U.K and it did'nt sell at £500 which I found very surprising.

a while ago some folks here mentioned that it's just the usual trend of all collectibles. the price would dip a little bit in summer til before the Christmas. And then the price will jump again after Christmas.
I believe that if they are doing the movie "The Hobbits", we can expect the value of these to maintain at least. I used to be an Alien/Predator fan. couple years ago their collectible statues were very valuable. hope SSW LOTR won't follow the same pattern.

It actually appears that the WKTF has been replaced by Aragorn and Sam and Bill in price, still a costly one no doubt; but perhaps not one of the "big three?" :horror

Well for the time being, no I guess, this just goes and shows the volatility of these items. Demand –vs – Supply, its also shows that the few of these that did fetch this so called “low price” of $850, that one should NOT invest in these collectables solely for investment purposes. Still not a bad profit for a $150 statue. The true test I feel will be in the upcoming spring/summer as the movies keep get pushed back into the general publics mind. Will there be a demand, will there be a supply, will people want to spend that much, will collectors be willing to sell parts of their collections. As for me, I love my WiKi in my collection and will be keeping it for sometime to come and is not up for sale no matter the price…………..

now for the cave troll price to go south ,go,go,go :naughty

I don't think so. There is a better chance of the Witchking getting made as a 1/4 scale than a Cave Troll. Stay in the clouds Cave Troll.:D

No not damaged but rather a paint variance, as will happen when they are hand painted, still WiKi replaced by Sam & Bill, keep wishing…...:D :naughty

Variance? His chin was torn off :google , thanks for the send-off though. :D

Wiki is awesome, lower prices lately are a fluke. I'm not selling mine, don't care if it goes down to $150 retail on ebay. :horror
