I've heard that the idea of making smaller ones too has been tossed around, I'd be up for that, more affordable and easier to display. I have enough challenge finding space for the Sideshow maquette, one as big as this NTT would be really tricky, it'd definitely be the biggest piece in my collection if I got it.

Personally, I didn't have the slightest problem signing up for this awesome maquette and I suspect that those who aren't willing to do so are not likely to "pull the trigger" in the first place. I can't speak for those intimately involved with the creation of this masterpiece, but I think it likely they really want these statues to fall into the hands of those who A]. love the movie and B]. appreciate artistry at it's finest.

No disrespect to SS, but this promises to be the apex Jaws-related collectible available anywhere...period. And now with the option of numerous display bases, it just keeps getting better!

i like it alot and its better than ssc's, but the problem is i want to see a diorama at this scale with the shark half under water and half out, kinda like the mcfarlane one. I dont want the shark out of water, its not as cool as a screen accurate scene imo.
