is it an AP or what?

there's also a grey hulk on ebay just like it... what's the deal? would it be worth more/less?

From what I know, an artist proof will say Artist Proof. I believe a no number means it was a production sample, which I again believe is even more rare than an artist proof.

Don't quote me on any of this I'm just throwing in what I think I know. I have an AP Cave Troll Weta Bust and it says artist proof on the bottom.

Hope that guy is legit, he really should have posted pics of the actual item. Esp the bottom base part.

If it is an artist proof some companies use AP/xxx on the base for the edition number.

Could be a recast or a replacement piece that didn't get numbered.

I have a SS Wolverine VS Sabertooth artist proof and it says Artist Proof inside of a rectangle on the bottom of the base.

yikes, this would scare me....he really should have posted a pic. SS could have left the # off by mistake...i'm sure he was emailed from a bunch of people asking for pics so it's strange he didn't post any or post those emails with his response.

Plus the low bid count. I am sure several people asked for pics, and he didn't provide. This thing should be up in the $1,000 mark by now. Maybe it's still on the boat from China ;P

perhaps a chinese factory model? there's plenty of im comiquettes around that were factory rejects, with the shoulder armor plating on backwards. maybe it's one of those? or sideshow just plum forgot.
