I agree, the final price was $190.00 including shipping, which considering the BR Head (like you said) and the extra True Type body made up for the extra money I spent. Overall I can't really complain, like I said I'll probably end up parting out the rest of the set anyway.

If you needed the BR head, that was the way to go.



But if someone already had the BR head, they got a decent deal at $99 imo.

I agree to a degree, but with so many essential pieces missing, I personally think that they paid to much.

A new True Type is $50 these days. And the Nurse outfit is no longer being made, so I think $99 was reasonable.

I have about 3 pairs of black socks, so that wouldn't have been an issue for me.


But again, it was only for someone who had a BR head to put it on.

That's a new Truetype, with the feet and headsculpt. Not a used Truetype. Plus, if it's a standard shouldered Truetype, it'd be worth even less.

Forget the missing sock or pen - the lack of a detonator or gun are what really kills it.

I don't know - I think most people who want a Nurse Joker are going to want the whole set, especially including the two main weapons. So if they're going to have to buy another Nurse Joker to complete the set anyway, $107 for a halfway complete Nurse Joker figure is a waste in my mind.

($30 for a Nurse Joker including a Truetype - now THAT's a good deal )

The gun would be easy to replace. In fact the gun it comes with isn't right anyway. Just rig something up on the end of the Bank Robber gun.


And I've never used the detonator.


Also, beggars can't be choosers. Unless someone else starts making these, they are gonna be pretty hard to come by.

Exactly what I had in mind...I'm thinking maybe someone should pick up the mantle of "The Toymon!" I'm not too certain on the outfits, but I could easily replicate the accessories. I'll have to wait and see though. Not sure how that is looked upon here, and I don't want to upset anyone. I'd just like to help out those who missd out. The socks would be the hardest parts, imo. Thankfully we have KingGrayskull for those.

The detonator is wrong too, lol. I have one in the works that is closer to screen accurate. It's funny, never did I think I would be this obsessed with screen accuracy for a figure in a scene featuring Heath Ledger in a dress...oh how the mind boggles. I was never this obsessed with screen accuracy even with my Ghostbusters stuff...wait, yes I was.

Finally i will have a nurse Joker , its only right , as of now i have 8 other Jokers from TDK

The auction had a brand new Truetype - BR slicked Head - HT Joker stand - and the complete Toysmon Nurse set


I can't wait - i will invest in a Perseus body for the sculpted legs

well i would need the legs and arms - i really need the whole body - the sculpted neck is a must for nurse joker .

It was accurate for the most part, (I'm not complaining, really). I just think that certain aspects of it could have been done differently. Like the name tag, the pen, the detonator, the gun, shoes, the belt etc. For what it was (an accessory pack) it was fine, it's just that with so many of these sets going for well over $125.00 it seems silly that those who want these need pay so much for inaccurate pieces. Some are paying as much as they would for an entirely new Hot Toys figure! As far as I know you can't really copyright a detonator controller, so I'm making a new one to replace the one that came with the set, the Hot Toys Glock is accurate as far as I know and everyone has at least two of those from the BR Joker, the first release Joker, and the DX Joker (that would make three.) So all that would be needed is a silencer (as I'm sure Hot Toys would frown on me making castings of their guns), that leaves the folder which could be easily duplicated, and because I'm crazy I'd even try to put acctual words in it.

I agree, whole heartedly. They aren't to hard to find on eBay, they will set you back around $120.00 or so. Here is the link to a buy it now one:

The set can easily be improved and still be sold for an affordable price IMO

Well I'm glad we have your support. To Paraphrase a line from one of my favorite cartoons "KingGrayskull, I know what we're going to do today." I also think that we should be able to do this and still keep it affordable. Chris, can I pm you about making this happen? I'd really like to make this happen if we can. =~)

Oh, I received my second Nurse Joker outfit today and I am surprised to find out that the wig will infact fit on the Officer Joker head as well. This is good news for me as I really wanted to use the Officer Joker head (modified with hair and paint of course) for my Nurse Joker. It's not a perfect fit, but I think I can make it work ultimately. I'll give more details as things develop.

An updated Nurse Joker outfit would be something I am interested in. I asked Kato a few weeks back if I could post an interest thread for it, but he said he wouldn't be interested. So to hear that someone else might be bring this to the table is making me very interested indeed. Can't wait to see what happens.

I can't speak for Chris, but I am working on the Guantlets for the Ninja Costume as well as some other pieces.
