Finally received Zhang Fei yesterday. I ordered him back in Nov 2016. His flag is very big so I can't really display it with limited space. It's hard to switch hands because the holes are made small for tight fitting. I actually broke the tab off the hand ball joint. I couldn't switch body with inflames Guan Yu because they are made different. My only option was to drill out and switch ball joint :( Also the legs of the horse are pretty shaky because they are adjustable and they used soft materials to make them. I don't suggest placing the horse in high places. Zhang Fei's armors look very dark and dull compared to 303's. I might consider repainting the gold a bit. Overall a solid production. I just wish the ball joints are stronger and switching hands is a bit easier. Now i have to buy a big clear case to cover them. His black suede like cape is a magnet for dust and dog hair
I didn’t order the deluxe version of Inflames Zhang Fei because I don’t want his horse. I like Inflames bodies for sturdy joints, but swapping hands is a major pain. I have to heat the ball joint with hair dryer before I can pull it out. Even then, it’s not exactly easy. I really like this Zhang Fei, and I have the battle damaged coming in too. However, due to different style of armor, I won’t mix him with 303 generals.

Congrats on getting Zhang Fei !! He looks great . I noticed on that Chinese YouTube app that the pegs on these inflames figure snap if not heated with a hair dryer . Everybody who’s getting either version , consider this a warning .

P.S The feet pegs will snap as well . If there not moving or don’t rotate properly then heat them until they do . Both pegs snapped on some sorry owner .

I feel 303 had used better body for Huang Zhong. When compared to older figures, the joints are tighter.

Perhaps this is a silly question, but for you guys who display your Chinese Historical figures on horses, are you afraid of the robes getting crumpled and wrinkled from being squished between the horse and the figure?

The robes is hidden beneath their armor. So no need to worry

Is anyone here getting general Qi Jiguang by Pop Toys?

I’m going all out with my Asian collection because I’m bored of Avengers and Star Wars. With the money I got from selling these two lines, I picked up two Qi Jiguang, one more Huang Zhong, and 4 more 303 new horses. I have 11 horses now.

Also have two Xiaolong Nu (Little Dragon Maiden) coming from China. Will use the second Xiaolong Nu to customize White Snake.

You must have a lot of space . That’s awesome . I’m packed on my shelves . Would love to see some pictures when you get everything set up .

I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of Pop Toys Qi Jiguang. Diecast armor is unexpected.

Undecided to use my second Huang Zhong as Huang Gai or Cheng Pu to accompany Zhou Yu.

Gave Zhao Yun a different helmet to enhance his looks. New helmet has a dragon, fitting his style name Zilong. I wanted more veteran generals in the field so I found a head for second Huang Zhong body. Happy Saturday! Haha
