$320 for a single figure?!?! That’s like Hot Toys diecast Iron Man figure price. I ain’t paying that.
Inflames is price gouging because they know Guan Yu has higher demand. **** ‘em.

Retail price in China is single 1530 yuan ($244) or set 2580 yuan ($412).

So the US prices are increased by distributors?

I’m sorry to blame Inflames for price gouging. They did not. Their retail price in China is similar to Zhang Fei and Zhao Yun pricings.

I wonder if Inflames will ever do Yue Fei.
I really hoped they do Yue Fei (big brother of three) and Zhuge Liang (military strategist) or Cao Cao (Warlord) before going back to Guan yu 2.0
I don't want to mix other companies figures since they have different art style.

BTW, why in the heck there are 2 posts (another one in history section)? Can mod merge these 2 into history figure section?

I really doubt it. Inflames strategy for the past 5 years has been trying to maximize the usage of armor style as much as possible. For example:
IFT-001 Monkey King armor has been reused 4 times. 3 Monkey King releases and Guan Yu 1.0.
IFT-018 Zhang Fei armor has been newly designed. It is reused for Zhao Yun, new Monkey King with Throne, and now Guan Yu 2.0.

Given their track record, it will be a long time if they touch Cao Cao or Zhuge Liang.

If i get this, no way i will keep all 3 Guan Yu and 2 red hare. The other ones will be sold quickly.

In Indonesia Inflames Guan Yu price is US$235 for single figure and US$405 for set figure. Quite affordable. So far i never disappoint with Inflames figure, so i still gonna get this Guan Yu. One thing that annoy me is their hand peg is so small and hard to change their hand. Ive tried to use hair dryer as mentioned in their instructions but still broke one of Huang Fei Hung hand peg. Any ideas how to safely remove hand peg or get the new one ? Please advise

I broke my Zhang Fei's too and had to drill out the ball joint. I'm wondering if greasing it will help.

My friend placed a preorder for Inflames Guan Yu 2.0 on taobao for me. 600 RMB deposit is required for the set.

After doing some price searches, I'm getting one from a shop in Malaysia (V).
Funny I got my v1 Guan yu from the same shop back in 2014! :D

Toypanic price looks great. I wonder if shipping from Malaysia to US is better than from China or HK.

Toypanic comes in handy when ordering rare items, You need to know 2 things if you want to use their service.
1. they usually ask for additional shipping when they get the items for various reasons (like shipping increased or box is bigger than they thought..etc) That's not professional if you ask me.
2. They often have problems shipping out items with sharp metal (like 1/6 scale sword or spear-like items) They had to ship out 3 times to ship my 'Yang Guo' figure with metal sword. Thing is, other Malay shops didn't have problems.. Maybe they don't know how to bribe custom :D

Also they were 3rd least expensive (including shipping to west cost US) according to my search.
