That is a tentative cost, and subject to change, but likely not by much. And I do believe each of us will have to make a small alteration to the existing hook, as Fremen did. Perhaps she can create a picture tutorial for us, because I really don't know what I'm doing either with regard to building a hook.

I believe myc mentioned in a previous post that he would try to devise a way of attaching the hilt to the sculpt. I am not sure if that is still his plan though.

The Hilt will be casted in resin. As said, I will try get some time this weekend to start working on the prototype. I will sculpt in Wax and will show you some progress on it. I hope I will get this thing nailed down to the complex build up and the thin neck on top of the saber.

Lets see later about the shipping process fury how we do it.. first, we have to get the prototype ..thats the hardest part

Awesome to see this come together and the community help each other out. myc, thank you for stepping up and offering your services, can't wait.

I really like the idea of a simple picture tutorial on how to mold/make and attach a hook to hang the saber. Hope that be accomplished - this is something I typically don't do with my pieces, so it will be a learning experience for me.

Ummmm...no! That is not okay. I expect a prototype tonight, final tomorrow, painted product on Sunday, free overnight shipping so I can have this done by Tuesday!! j/k
