a buddy of mine came over tonight to hang out. he was going to buy the obi wan but then didnt because of the hilt missing.

so he comes over and sees mine, and i never told him anything about this custom hilt. so he is looking at it, then he screams WTF!?! What is that?

im like what, it came with the statue why are you acting like a moron right now, settle down. needless to say he is flipping out, saying how this wasnt supposed to come with a hilt and i must have some artist proof that is worth thousands....LOL....i was like sure maybe. and totally played it off like who cares.

so this goes on and on, and finally he says "im calling sideshow tomorrow! this is BS!"

so i plan on letting him call and be driven nuts for a week or so until I let him in on it.

no need to say it, i know, im possibly the best friend a guy could have.

So I will go today after work to the mail office and ask what the heck is going on with all the ones who didnt got their hilt yet.

Naive as I was, I didnt put my return address on all envelopes. Wont happen with the second batch. PLease let me know who ever didnt got their hilt by the end of the week. I hope I will get some clarity at the mail office...

so I just came back from the mail office and I am super pissed !!

The guy who assist me about 10 days ago when I shipped out the first batch quated me 20cents less then he should. Domestic as international !!!

Thats the reason why most of you didnt got their hilt yet !! The ones who got it where lucky ...

I asked whats going to happend with the ones which are in nirvana because I didnt placed my return address on it..

well the guys told me that the best would be to wait out. USUALLY the local mail office will contact the receipiant to pick it up and pay the difference. I WILL COVER THAT !!! But I hope that this is going to happen !

SO please.. wait out this week at least and let me know. I am very sorry for the trouble but I blame the mail agend who priced me not the correct postage.

I will contact each of the first batch individually per PM and it would be great to hear back if you got it already or if you will receive a note from your local mail office.

I'm sorry you have to go through this problem myc, but I will say I'm still very happy with my hilt and I think many others are as well. Hopefully, they will all be delivered successfully, and when they are, more collectors will be very happy too.

Well, I didn't have to go through this postal snafu, but if I had, I would have paid the 20 cents in a heartbeat. The hilt is done on a professional level and helps top off a great Kenobi statue.
