It's going to be very difficult to reconcile the heights between all the figures because if you consider the size of their heads, they are really not all consistently scaled with each other. Sideshow likes to pull this trick where they use larger heads for shorter characters to make these appear proprtional to the bodies they use (grapefruit + regular body + hooded cloak = jawa). Inversely, they also use smaller heads to make a figure appear taller while using the regular body. Unless there's a way to resize the heads across the series to one consistent scale, I treat each figure individually, modifying each body when necessary to be in proper proper proportion to the head. This way, there is no compromise in a figure's appearance, size, and scale because of the shortcomings of another figure. Just my 2 cents.

And let's get some measurements fopr all the Star Wars "1:6" figures, both Sideshow and Medicom... let's see exactly who is too shrimpy and who is huge.

I could have sworn Vader was taller, but I guess the cast does not lie.

There's some give and take on Jango, Boba and the Clones. Watching the three Fetts at Celebration 4 was pretty telling. Jeremy Bulloch is 6'1. Temuera Morrison is 5'7. Also, Luke who is 5'9, is a little short for a stormtrooper. It's worth noting that Han Solo who was never acused of being a little short for a Stormtrooper is also 6'1.

Now the clones are CGI but they do seem to be Temuera's height so something must have happened between ROTS and ANH for the Stormtroopers.





Now I don't know how tall the Medicom Clones are, but with their helmet off, a 1:6 Clone should stand around (I am very surprised to report) 11.17 inches in height. With helmet, somewhere around 11 1/4 inches, I'd guess.

Back to Jango vs. Boba. Unless they had Jeremy Bulloch standing in a trench while filming, it looks like film accurate 1:6 scale figures of the pair would put Jango at 11.17 inches with helmet off while Boba would be 12.17 inches with helmet off -- a full inch taller. To be screen acurate, that is.

Great job, Brooklyn Wolf X! I take it you used the slim body? Also did you have to do any modifications on the legs or arms, or is that the Medicom figure's real height? They look great together.

yup, slim RAH body. no modifications to the arms or legs, that is the figures real height. most of the modifications came from obi wan's head. i hollowed out his neck and shaved it down to make it shorter. that wasn't fun...at all. i got a blister on my index finger. oh and obi wan is wearing THREE tunics. i took the extra tunic that came with plo koon and gave it to obi wan, since the RAH body is smaller compared to the buck. you don't really need it though. the 2 tunics are good enough. i just figured why waste it?
