Obi Wan put back to September now?

I've heard from a friend that Obi wan has been put back to september now, is this true? He ordered his from the Forbidden Planet website and he checked with them and was told september!!!

I was hoping to get Obi in the next couple of weeks!

Normally Sideshow sends out its direct sale orders first and then ships allotments to its third-party retailers. At least, that's what I've been led to understand. So if people who ordered direct from Sideshow receive Obi-Wan in late August, then it's entirely likely that customers who bought through other retailers such as Forbidden Planet will receive Obi-Wan in September.

I think you're both right. We haven't gotten any shipping notice for Obi so he won't get out to us who ordered direct for at least 30 days, which is basically September. Even later for those who have him through a retailer.

Loki, could Obi-Wan be another surprise release like Kit was? If I remember correctly, Kit wasn't listed in the "30 Days" list but suddenly people were getting 10-15 day notices. I guess it may be possible for Obi-Wan to still be a mid to late August release.

Thoughts?

That's news to me. I wonder if that means those of us who ordered through Sideshow will be getting ours shipped out around the 15th or so? Or if both Sideshow and SWShop will ship out at the same time?

I remember SSC stating (after Kit) most of the 12" fig releases were pretty much rolling out in order now, so I think we will be seeing Obi soon and he will be the best SW 12" fig to date along with Luke.

Has anyone else heard anything from SW.com about the supposed release date? I have a feeling that Obi-Wan is going to spring on everybody, surprise-like.

Which 12" figures are actually been released and shipped? I found sideshow at this years Comic Con after not collecting for a while and love these and trying to catch up. I have my name on every wait list I can but also combing ebay and have not been able to find much besides the two Anakins and Kit.
