If they latch onto your mask/breathing equipment, you can be in alot of trouble so the guys pretty ballsy for going after it, but the camera also probably cost a few thousand dollars.

same thing happened to me once but i was on dry land and instead of an octopus it was a guy in a skimask. and i chased him with a real gun. not a speargun.
