It just oozes cool and is utterly brilliant at times in its simplicity and artistry.

yea, should be pretty good. From what I have read, the film has over 1400 different camera cuts in the film. Which on a normal 2 hour movie, is a cut every 5 seconds or so. Some friends of mine are weary on that, thinking that it's going to be a movie that will be cutting so fast it will give them a seizure. I think that's a good thing, means tons of action and violence. And let's face it, it's the 21st century, I see no problem with that.
 
It's not quite that frenetic. There are some very nice static shots showcasing beautiful landscapes and such. In fact, some reminded me of the more serene shots from Ridley Scott's GLADIATOR (think wheat fields).

The battle and action scenes are very frenzied, though, which is to be expected.

But the movie does have an overall look and feel that is all its own. Snyder nailed it.
