I still have that figure along with HT Trautman and Rambo (M60). Sold the rest as I already got Enterbay Rambo III and HCG Rambo IV. First Blood is always the best IMO.

Normally I'm a huge fan of rooted hair, but holy hell.....

I've been working on a custom First Blood Rambo.
Still very much a work in progress, the hair needs to be trimmed to it's final length and I still need to weather the entire piece.

Recipe:
Head sculpt: Supreme Rambo sculpt (ebay / onesixthkit). I re-haired it but it's easy because the resin hair just peels right off.
Body: Burning Soul Angry James Howlett
Jeans: Burning Soul Angry James Howlett. I will fade these with some bleach soon.
Hands: Burning Soul Angry James Howlett
Poncho: DIY from some fabric I bought at the sewing store, painted with acrylic paint to get the colour I wanted. The headband is made from the same material.

That’s best First Blood Figure I’ve ever seen. That Supreme Head looks to be the best Rambo likeness to get.

I just ordered parts to make my own Part 2 Figure. Using a Ganghood body, Supreme Head, ZYToys outfit, A Bow/Arrow and knife set, plus a loose RPG, Boots, watch and necklace from Toy Anxiety.

The whole bash cost under $145 compared to the $170 HaoYu Toys complete figure is going for on Evilbay. Of course with the HaoYu Toys figure you have people say they want to replace the head and the body. Will post pics after everything gets here. All the parts are coming from sellers in the USA so I should have everything this week. [emoji4]

Well all my parts came in so before work today I decided to put him together. Changed the head band to red. Fabricated a small leather sheath for his small knife that attaches to the back of his belt sideways through the back belt hoop like at the start of Rambo II except mine is for one knife not 2. Also not sure if anyone else had had the problem but had to use my press to get the neck post in the Supreme Head....even after heating it up. Biggest complaint was the Ganghood wrist pegs. My body arrived with a broken peg right out of the bag, quick swap with some HT pegs, and well John J is ready for action. Love this Figure.

Hope you guys dig him. Not bad for the price to make him.

Looks cool. Try making the headband longer. It should reach the top part of his chest. Also, maybe get it wet or use a darker fabric.

Sure. Here's a better shot.

Some quick shots. Redid the head band with Red basis fabric tape that I stained with Red and black and brown acrylic diluted paint then dried and frayed. Brought the head band higher in the head instead of resting on his brow since the pictures show it higher. Next on my list is to remove the head and shirt and sculpt scars and then repaint the chest, back, arms where the scarification will take place. Thanks for the tips on the head band.
