Still never beat him by myself but I've beaten him several times on co-op. He's not fun.

I've beat him about 3 times now on insane! There is an easy trick to it... when the level starts, run up to the concrete block on the right side of the train car you are on, near the end before the next car, and take cover as close to the right side as possible. Shoot your Lancer (or Hammerburst) at Raam to get him to come to you on the RIGHT side (from your point of view). If everything goes correctly, he will come up to the concrete block on the other side and just stand there and not really fire at you. Toss grenades around the right side of the block and they will bounce behind Raam (or use the Torque Bow) to clear the Krell, and then unload active reload bursts from the Lancer or Hammerburst into him with blind fire. If he starts to move around the block, you can run to the other side and take cover and keep trying, but it will be much harder once he decides to start moving. If everything goes well, it will probably take all 4 grenades and 5 or 6 Torque shots, with the Lancer or Hammerburst in-between, to finish him off. The last time I killed him on Insane, I was able to do it on only the second try!

We were just taking cover on the center block in the center, I was torquing to get rid of krill and Karma was sniping. Then when he got closer we were unloading on him with blind hammerburst, nades, and machine gun fire. Then when he got to us, jumping over the center block and heading towards the other center block and repeat. Tried to get to the troika a couple of times, but that didn't work. What DID piss me off, was that the krill were killing us even when we were sitting in the light. Oh well.

In the next few weeks, if any of you guys want to, I still need my Dom and COG achievement if any of you still need those.
