Finally got my Harry Potter Grails!!!

Shame that an IP as iconic as Harry Potter had to have the license snapped up by Star Ace…
I won’t even talk about what Hot Toys would have done with the line, because that may be asking too much, but even Asmus!
I can only imagine what a line of Potter figures from Asmus would have looked like.
Instead we get a line of 1/6 scale scarecrows wearing wizard robes.
What a waste.

I think WB pulled the license from Star Ace. When I messaged them asking about the Deathly Hallows versions of Harry, Ron and Hermione, they said the Triwarzd version from the GOF was their last iteration of Harry. Am glad I picked the Azkaban teenage version.

I just hope they release the Cedric and Mcgonagall as it's already announced. Unsure when they'll start shipping; Q4 21, maybe Q1 22? Anybody heard about it?

Yea I wouldn't mind 3Z having the license or Asmus since they seem to have a good relationship with WB with the LOTR license.

Great news! I think they actually did mention that Cedric would be the final figure in the line, but everyone was confused because of the way it was worded.

Never thought I'd be happy to have no Harry Potter figures coming out, but... Star Ace, man.

Got Dumbledore in today! Gotta say, I’m very pleased with this guy. Only thing I can think of doing is adding a bit more padding at his stomach. I know lots of folks have been disappointed with these figures (with some pretty good reason), but out of my short time collecting these, the only one I’ve been disappointed with actually owning is Lupin. However, I don’t own teen Ron or Hermione either. Still plan on getting Mad-eye.

Caved and finally grabbed a Halloween Ron from BBTS. There was one left, been watching it dwindle. Really hard pill to swallow but I think I'd regret not completing the trio when I could.

Actually, my favorite figure of the line would be Quiddich Harry from the "Chamber of Secrets". Second version, I believe, the one with hair parted over the scar. He has such delicate features.
Aside from that, I`m with you. But one can learn to love these figures as they are, while left with no alternatives. I know people, who actually love their Lucius Malfoy...
