Hot Toys have very little to interest me anymore, 90% of their figures are of characters i already have from them, in some cases several of, they're boring and predictible

I've gone from buying almost exclusivley Hot Toys to buying almost exclusively everything but Hot Toys

Full of original characters that i'd buy, likely 5% will get made in between 95% characters i already have getting made instead

Yeah my interest in Hot Toys almost completely died out. Most of their releases now are just from forgettable summer action films or rehashes of previous releases and I get very tired of it. These characters aren't even interesting enough to warrant figures of so combining that with the rising prices just makes me care even less.

For the most part I try to go with Medicom, ThreeA, and off brands and unlicensed companies. Enterbay is the new Hot Toys for me though. Their quality shot up significantly and they tend to pick much more interesting licenses. I'm really looking forward to their 1/4 Kamen Rider as well as their 1/6 Men in Black. Should be very cool.

I've ordered the City Hunter and T800, likely gonna keep the City Hunter only, before that my last ones were due for release last year, and hopefully will come out soon

There will be countless more Batman movie releases down the road. I fail to see the point in bothering with that kind of release. Even within Hot Toys themselves they will probably create a better version of Batman from that movie, but also companies like Enterbay and such will jump on that license later on too. There's no point.

^ i have the same reaction to Avengers Cap, i don't like the price, headsculpt or gun, so i'll just wait til next year to pick it up cheaper or get the inevitable remake or variant

I hope Snake and Boss, don't suffer the Bane teaser to P.O delay, it's been long enough

Well HT didn't officially release any figure teaser yet? Something tells me they will wait until they are done showing off the Avengers though, or at least Thor and Black Widow.

Hope they show the specs soon though.

Not really. From a figure perspective that is!

Would only like one batman in my collection, which will hopefully be the enterbay 1/4 oc bats. MAY get a version of Bane after seeing the film.

Plus the TDKR batman will likely leak anyway.

Loki and Captain America (USO) were shown in some mag/catalog months ago.

The only three franchises that I'm interested in are The Dark Knight Rises, Batman 89/Returns, and Metal Gear Solid. Once I have the MGS figures, I'll probably quit this hobby for good and put my money toward other interests.

That would be awesome. I have the RAH Medi Raiden and it's a nicely detailed figure. The articulation is practically non-existent though.

I think we might see some more MGS figures hopefully.HT said in their latest Q&A that their main focus in the VGM line was RE and MGS.I think they have plans but in the year of Avengers and TDK?Nah doubt it.

I'd rather see at least 2 Arkham City figures before they go balls deep in the MGS universe.

Would rather have Fox and Snake from MGS1 though!
