agreed with both of you the PS2 Big Boss is superior to the 3DS render.. I also didn't like how he looked in PW neither.

Re-pasting the photo, as it's too far back in the thread:

The headsculpt looks more derived from Peace Walker rather than Snake Eater, as Big Boss looks more mature & stares like a seasoned veteran. The Peace Walker look is more bad-ass, but they are advertising this as an MGS3: Snake Eater release.. Doesn't make sense

When it comes to the game, I love the sneaking suit, but for action figures, I prefer the different camo BDUs especially the Tiger-Stripe. I am hoping Hot Toys will give us more photos in the coming months, to show more, as I can't really judge Big Boss based on that photo.

Since there is no 1/6-scale 'Boss' figure out there (even an unlicensed release), this is a sure pre-order!!! :YESS:

No interest in the MGS figures but it's good to see that fans/collectors are finally getting a peek at them. That wait was a killer. Specs/pics should be coming shortly.

Snake looks really, really good. Almost fooled me into thinking it was an actual game model.

The dude with the scared tits though, ew. If the lines a success, I foresee many, many cool Snake variations.

Lol! With the long wait since this license was announced, I expected another few months for the next pics, or even the complete set of prototype pics.

My thought process was that the Avengers movie is showing in a few days, so they need to ramp up their Avengers announcements if they are going to release every single figure.

Between the screening of Avengers & TDKR, I hope they manage to release MGS.

No way I am canceling the batmobiles they are 2 of hot toys all time best. Plus I was charged a nrd for both lol. Hopefully these dont come out for a while if they do maybee i will flex pay them. But the avengers and batman licenses come first for me.

I will be getting The Boss and Papa Snake, though. No issue with her features, either. I like that she looks different from every other female figure.

Still miffed at the fact that once again no info came directly from HT themselves to their customers. Sure they gave these pics to Plastinc Enemies but they almost never update the fans themselves.

It was the same with that interview a short while back in Milk Magazine, they said Platoon will continue and they are in fact developing X-Men, but they didn't care to just post a quick message on their FB to let their fans know this info

I think as far as promoting and information about upcoming lines go, they don't care about their fan bases out side of Asia.
