Looks like Jack is calling his shot of being figure of the decade so far! To captainjamesbrooke: Sadly T2 Ahnold has now gone down to the third level of the left Detolf under Bats DX and Sups, but man is he still impressive.

Funny, I had the opposite experience. I found the plastic rod as soon as I opened it up. But I didn't have a clue what it was for until I opened up the flag several days later.

Basically I used 2 small piece of 3M plastic cable holder, one to hold the flag pole near it's end and the other in the middle on the tail of the flag.
The weight of the tail flag (the rugged part) can be held up if u hold up the bottom of the upper tail flag. Will post photos to illustrate if possible later, hope this is useful.

DX Jack Sparrow is a true premium format figure, very nice accessories, paint, materials, tailoring, sculpting, and on top of it all, it's a posable figure, not a statue, with a base every bit as nice as a premium format statue might include. Sure it's 1/6 not 1/4, but I think for the cost, the value of what you get and the options are far more worth it with this. Jack is my 3rd DX figure with Joker and Batman being the others, and to me, this is the first where the whole package truly feels like the cost and what you get are fitting and the overall deserves to be classified above and beyond a standard figure.

Hot Toys went all out on this figure and I feel very fortunate that they did, this figure means a lot to me and the joy I have right now could only come from the realization of an amazing Jack figure, and with a little customization, I have that now thanks to Hot Toys.

Hi.. I should have my figure in about a weeks time and later I plan to
display him in a detolf similar to how yours is. I would be grateful if you wouldn't mind posting pics, I'd love to display the flag like that, looks awesome.
