Youre not the only one lol I thought it was a rub too when I first seen it on mine...but only for a slit second!
I think its because I never seen it in any of the pics so it kind of surprised me.

Did anyone's base that came with this figure start to raise up on the front and back slighty?, mine has a bit and i am thinking it could be the temperature of the room or i got the rope tied too tight to the base.I may lay some weight on both sides of the base floor to keep it down flat for a bit.

Yes, this was brought up earlier.

They just glued layers of material together... so naturally it'll want to warp. Base sucks. They should've just used a solid piece of plastic or something.

Yea I'd say loosen the rope around the base and see what happens.

Yea, i did notice..makes sense. I agree just a solid black plate of plastic would've done just fine.

did some mods...

fur has been trimmed and futz ( I looked at a lot of pics and it looks like they are two ferrets.. ) lowest belt cut to proper length..compass is attached with magnet so I can pull it anytime if I want him holding it sash has been futz and aged a bit...belt for the sword has been lengthened a bit so it hangs lower...

future mods will be mohair
