Hmmm I stand corrected about the original pistol. Thought in OST he didn't do that and just put them behind the belts just so they look the same. Will have to fix that when I get home

Current jack pose....

Love this pose. Very cool!!!

Hey, how does everyone have the pistols placed near his belt?

Do you have them just tucked under his belt between the belts and shirt.

OR

Do you have them actually slid inbetween the small gaps of the belt knots right next to the belt buckle?

I wanted to have it just tucked under the belt so that I didnt stretch the belt buckle area, but I couldnt fit it under the belt.

So I ended up squeezing them inbetween the ties of the belts near the belt buckles (one gun in each). This sort of stretches the belt material a bit, but they fit nicely.

See pics if it shows clearly enough. What has everyone else done?

He wears them like this

can someone pls post a pic of the instructions from the bookelt re the belt accoutrements? - particularly how the objects and flintlocks are suggested to be attached, inserted etc...thx in advance

Tie the compass on using the string. Tie the chicken foot and little beads onto the larger belt buckle using the string and simply slide the large gun into his sash and the smaller gun between the belts. There are hundreds of pics in this thread of people's figures or just google for a real pic of Jack or look at the picture directly above your post.

Thx, but I wanted to see the actual illustration hot toys came up with, to compare to actual costume...n what folks are.doing in comparison,, I know that sometimes toy companies change up the look, sometimes for practical purposes...i.e.so parts won't interfere w other parts, our won't rub up against something else etc...hot toys is known to offer little tidbts to avoid damage or keep wear n tear to a minimum

Unless you snap the gun in half or rip the clothes, then simply assembling the figure isn't going to damage it.

Youre assuming my reason is bc I.m afraid of damaging it....actually my aim partly is to see hot toys suggestions, intent and actual illustration.

I simply would like to see the illustration...i realize I can assemble whatever way I want etc etc but my actual aim is the illustration....mines in storage n I forgot exactly what the illustration itself showed
So id appreciate if anyone could snap a pic of that page n post it...my storage is 40 miles from where I currently am... :p

I really have to take this guy out of the box after what, 6 months now?

I'm the worst at being lazy setting up figures, and even worse at futzing. I keep thinking Jack is going to be a giant PITA to futz and get looking nice, so I keep putting it off.

My Jack Sparrow just arrived!!! To say I am totally blown away with it is an understatement. I am like a giddy little kid. It blows the mind how lifelike the face is and how many different poses you can put him in. Can't wait to get a display case. Glad I made this my first HT purchase.

Congrats!
It really is one of HT best! And Im glad he is since he is one of my favorite film characters of all time! I also agree, the options for posing and display seems almost...infinite. I bought two because of this and even then it almost makes you want another for a different pose!

But Ill wait for Cannibal Jack for my third HT Jack...

Well you have heard of a jack in the box. Here is my new Jack out of the box.

Yeah crappy pic I know. But you get the idea.

Couldn't wait to get him out and mess with him. But wanted to wait until I had some display solution. This is just temporary. Gonna really get him set up next week when I have some more free time.
