I think it looks great! I'm like you and was never really happy with the smirk sculpt. That's why I also got the Medi/Enterbay jack. I think they got it better.

As for hands, the Enterbay/Medi are well sized but it's a lot to spend on a figure for just some hands that aren't as varied as the HT

That looks excellent. What kind of clay are you using? I've been using this "green Stuff" epoxy but it's tough as nails.

its the stuff that i can get over here and its very nicely sandable

its called milliput superfine white
nice stuff
very sticky first and settles after 3 hours or so to rock hard consistence
never had any cracking or so
can be smoothed with water while soft
