The difference between the 2 helmets is huge, the first one (the HT one) looks too rusty, too damaged like an old relict.

Awesome. Is that the P1 body? I love that paint job, the paint design on the actual figure is rubbish. In the sense that it doesnt match what he was actually like in the film. Haha. But that looks awesome up there.

Thats cos its like the actual paint job on the suit in the movie. Would love to have a P1 body painted up like this for my P2. Would make it look so much better.

I was sceptical before but after looking again I agree your mask is better. I still like the Hot Toys original, they did a much better job on that one than they did on the P1 mask IMO. What do you think?

Hey fellas...sorry to hit up two threads with this, but I didn't see a feedback thread on this forum, and I need some help. I also figured since the Guardian and P2 share the same body this might be the best place to ask.

I love my new Guardian, but I already had something break off. The thigh guard on his left leg has popped off, and will not stay on very well when reapplied. Has anyone ever had this type of problem with the P2 body? I am new to these figures, and while I'm usually good at modifying and customizing transformers...I'm not really sure how to get this back on and make it stay, while maintaining poseability in the leg. I feel if I glue it back on, its still going to pop off anytime I want to pose the left leg. Are there any feedback forums that someone could direct me to? I'd really like to put this thigh armor back on permanently, and still retain the ability to pose the legs.

My other problem with this guy is that his wrist blade gauntlet is really loose unless I push it up further on his forearm towards his elbow. Even this is only a temporary solution as the gauntlet always slides back down and becomes loose. I noticed that the netting is switched between the P2 and Guardian. It seems that on the P2 the netting covered his right arm, whereas the netting now covers the Guardian's left. Does anyone have any suggestions on tightening the grip of the gauntlet on the forearm? Thanks in advance to anyone who can lend me some advice or point me in the right direction.

Also...just gotta say...I already did the hairdryer mod on his dreads, and they look way better. I swear when he came out of the box he reminded me of a porcupine, or Sonic the Hedgehog on a bad hair day.

Just so you know, the Guardian Predator uses the P1 body, not the P2/Elder Body.

Left Leg Armor: It happened on my P2. I glued it but it would still pop off like you said. The way I fixed mine (and kept the ability for it to move) was I glued a small cable tie wrap like this:

..to that piece of armor. Then I slid the end of the tie wrap up and under the armor between the hip. You might have to cut some excess off.. but the armor is pretty snug near the hip so it's tight enough to hold in place. I put a slight bend in the tie wrap so the armor would sit closer and more accurately to the leg like the real movie armor. That's the added advantage of this mod.

Here's a pic of my P2, you can see what I mean about the armor now:

Loose Gauntlets: Easy fix. Remove them and wrap the arms with plumbers tape.

Wrap up the forearm a little and then test fit the gauntlet.

does anybody know a trick to tighten joints on the figure? I just got one that was put together but the right arm's joint is really loose.

So I guess it's a P1 body, with P2 armor? I just figured it was a P1 head and a P2 body because of the armor. Interesting...oh well, I effin' love this guy.

BTW, thanks a ton for the advice. I'm going to try that out tomorrow. I really like how the thigh guard looks in the picture of your P2.

it has P2 height according to youtube videos.
so i guess it is at least P2 joint between chest and stomach.
and maybe P2 neck.
when i start getting rid of all those long-torso effects, i'll know for sure.
