For those of you who have seen it, with out giving away ANY spoilers, is it possible that with ignoring afew things that this could be fudged as a "Superman Returns"-esque follow up to the Bill Bixby series?

It's obviously a new film with no direct continuity to the 2003 version, but with the "5 years later" concept and the "Banner on the run" story, I wonder if it would fit in with the style of the show, possibly leaving a door open for a character like McGee to appear in the sequel.

I saw IM 3 times and never even saw the sheild. Need to have my eyes checked.
