I'm back in NJ and have two painted test shots in front of me. All I'm thinking is Terminator 2 fans are in for a real treat with these. The paint looks great and the likeness I feel really really good about. I have the Terminator 3 figure sitting here next to the NECA T2 figure and all of us are wanting to laugh at the T3 figure.

Wow. And I never thought the T3 figures were bad at all. Are you indeed referring to the McFarlanes? My only problem with the T3 figures is that they were T3 figures and not T2 or T1 figures!

My thoughts exactly, in terms of paint, likeness and quality, the McFarlane T3 figures were great. Especially the Arnie ones.

i have the whole entire T3 mcfarlane collection, wish i could post pics but i have no cam at the moment. i must say, they look incredible. say what you will about the movie, the T3 figures were all kinds of awsome and still are, wish they werent so preposed but they still are incredible. if the neca T2 figs are anything like these are, ill be happy.

Hey Tank, did you do that unproduced (no battle damage) Arnie that Mcfarlane never released? That was always the 'one' that I wanted; these new ones look just as good - lets hope the final paint apps look as good - can't wait!

So, is the Endo all new, retooled? What can you guys say?

Now I gotta see it. Cause the T3 is the best Arnie likeness thus far.

The t3 ones looked decent, but nothing like the unreleased T2 one they showed years before that...wish I had a pic of it!

those are not the final product, those pics shown looked like 2-ups. on top of that, they are also the custom painted ones. the actual figures themselves will more then likely not look that good, unfortunatly. but they shouls still be awsome.

OT, i saw in TRU the other day, they had some new figures which included another arnie hero, conan the barbarian. looked pretty cool! i guess its like a little apetizer before the T2 figures hit. arent they supposed to come out in may?

He was talking about the McFarlane T3 figures from 2003 or so. Good figures although I never did find any versions without the sunglasses. The ones with sunglasses were great though. I will however inevitably prefer NECAs new T2s from an altogether superior film.

Yeah, those 2 ups always look incredible.....

I am hoping for a T2 NECA homerun here...want them to do all the movies. I see the playmates Terminator Salvation stuff and I wanna cry. They look that bad

Based on the NECA prototype pictures, I prefer the new ones though, better likeness IMO.
