Sadly, Ultimate T-1000 looks like the old figure updated with some new articulation and that's about it, just like T-800.

From the neck down the original T-1000 was great, the face just seems cartoony on the clean head, the split head looks great, just figured they'd update T-800 and T-1000 a bit.

Provided it doesn't fall apart when you remove it from the box like the original release did I'll be good.

The original's leg pose was a bit of a problem aswell, stands were needed, especially if you were unfortunate enough to get plastic warping from the packaging in addition to the crumbling joints.

Just noticed the T-1000 seems to be in a Pescadero diorama too. Not that that will be released for sale.

Not sure if you ever realized, I did recently by accident, T-1000's feet are ball jointed. I had major problems in the past getting them to stand but after I figured that out, it was much easier, no stands needed, very stiff, almost glued joints at first though.

The elbow joints on most of my T-1000s disintegrated. I remember how hard it was to find decent ones with nice face paint and no breakages. I'll be passing on this Ultimate one probably since it looks exactly like the old one except for the new legs. Even the head has that pale, chintzy looking paint job on the face. I remember coming across so many at Toys R Us that were missing eye brows.

Sarah Connor looks great. I'll be buying atleast two of her granted they turn out okay.

Connor looks really good, wow.

T-1000 and the T-800 are identical to the older ones save for the bottom half with articulated legs. The production heads and paint are exactly the same.

They nailed Connor's sculpt. I always thought the NECA T 1000 looked more like the actor than the HT figure, so I'm fine with that sculpt. The T800 sculpt looks a bit outdated compared to Sarah Connor.

No problem.

And yeah, I suspect once we see that Sarah shrunk down to half that size, then produced in some Chinese factory with mold lines and cheap paint, it will fit the other two Terminators perfectly. :lol

:lol ^

I want to own all the NECA Terminator 2ups. The Man or Machine T-800 was the biggest downgrade when it came to mass-production. Love the endo-arm on the 2up with the gory remnants and the separated pistons. That went to ***t on the final figure unfortunately.

Yep, Sarah looks incredible. And there you have it, NECA can do likenesses. Ripley and Kyle Reese never looked that good at any stage of production.
