**** it, y'know. Might aswell see what this new articulation looks like. I was always intending to get Sarah and the T-1000 and to be one short of the complete set of ''ultimates'' inevitably would have been on my mind.

I really hope they give some T1 figures the ultimate treatment aswell, they need it more since the permanent leg stance on those is very specific.

I could make the box art to print and save myself money if I really wanted to, it's a common publicy shot and simple graphic, wouldn't need to be in box form.

A man worth upward of $1 billion won't rest until he bankrupts dev. :lol

I can just see you at night, awake in bed looking at the empty space next to the "Ultimate" Sarah and T1000 :lol

Randy said on twitter that maybe next year.

A gap which could not be countenanced as it turns out. For a while there I was so sure I wasn't buying it. A failure of discipline perhaps but by no means one of huge consequence. It's a NECA T2 figure - well within my present collecting parameters.

I like the added articulation, but now that it's being executed, it's just too costly to get the benefit I'd want out of it. I liked the idea of doing more articulated Terminator figures because I liked the idea of being able to give more variety to the look of my NECA Terminator lineup, having 4-5 T-800s from each movie all with mostly the same post and only different guns and heads is a bit boring looking, but doing just a one off "Ultimate" of each past figure at $23, it'd get pricey to buy up multiples to server the function. I'd need 2 T-800s, and have to paint the shirt on one black for the sunglasses head, the BD head is just utterly useless with this set. I'd need 3 T-1000s to use all the parts, that'd be $100+ to give my display variety, just not worth it and a single figure isn't worth it. That's why I'm passing. Sarah's brand new and very welcome. Likewise with T1, my reasons would be the same, I'm fine enough with what we already got but would like a T1 Sarah, if they could get Sigourney Weaver I bet they could get her and more easily.

I'm only buying the one as a sampler of their ''SA'' T-800. I have ample quantities of the original releases covering all the looks and have no desire to replace them especially when I was always fine with the leg pose they chose anyway.

T1 Sarah would be cool and yes I'm sure they could get her likeness rights for such a figure - alas I think the barrier to her being made is her 80s girly look and the fact she didn't use guns. I'm sure they'd be concerned that she just wouldn't sell enough to warrant making her. We'd buy her but casuals wouldn't and even some collectors of the rest of the line wouldn't. Some adult male collectors actually have 'no female figures' policies - though maybe moreso at 1:6 where they feel like they are truly buying a ''doll''.

Wife would laugh me out of the house if I brought home a Barbie, regardless if it's from HT.

Predator and Godzilla are ok though. :lol

Picked up the ultimate T-800 today. As far as I can tell comparing it to the original release, the heads are indeed the same sculpt. Also, they put a twisty tie around his torso that kind of deforms the Jacket a bit.

Also saw the Genisys figures, they looked pretty good, but I'd rather save my money for the upcoming Ultimate T-1000 and Sarah.

Is the Genisys Guardian out?

Well, I saw him and the Genisys T-1000 today at a local collectible convention called Frank and Sons. My seller usually gets them in a few weeks before places like Toys R Us does. If I remember correctly, I think NECA has them currently on their ebay store.

Cool, I wouldn't think they'd only put out the T-1000 but they only showed him in package, I want the '84 Guardian.

I don't know why, but the '84 Guardian look has grown on me, even though the movie's just so-so. For the price of NECA figure i'll cave, I won't be spending HT money though :lol

Literally my only temptation for Genisys figures is the fact that I have the McFarlane T3 figures, a movie which I despise. Now, if I ultimately end up hating Genisys it hasn't happened quite yet, it's certainly a lesser Terminator movie by the standard of the first two. But will I hate it more than T3? If I don't and I'm happy to display some T3 figures it would seem to make sense to buy the NECA T:Genisys figures.....but then again I haven't been laid in far too long a time, maybe I should save the money. **** it's all so confusing....
