Nam didn't you do this with SE and switch him to something else. I thought someone here used a muscle bod on SE not too long ago and only trimmed the pegs...

they're a REALLLY tight fit though... perhaps i need to trim them down a little more....
or sand them...

Tight is right. You don't want to risk them being too lose. And with the nice chunky plastic Sideshow's using, you not only get a more realistic wrist, but you don't have to worry about the broken peg scenario.

I will know for sure in a few days, looks like so far though that the brawn outweighs any head to body discoloration for my needs.

Do u have a billy muscle body?

A friend of mine does. Billy's complexion is very.... sun tanned. Stormshadow looks like he's a mix between Asian and Caucasian.

Yeah I'm looking at my spare Billy body and it's not terrible dark, it's actually lighter than Dutch for some reason...

^^^^.. I thought he had a billy body... Guess it's not then. :shrug I'll ask him tommorow when i talk to him. He picked it up off the 'bay. I THOUGHT he said it was billy....

eithor/or take some outside picks when you get him.. Sunlight will help show the real look of it.


On the body front, stormshadow ALLMOST matches the regular caucasian truetype. body.

Nice pics, everyone. Got mine yesterday and only made ONE mod: I poked 3 series of extra holes in his sword/quiver belt to get it to sit closer to the body and now I think he looks much better. My only complaint about this figure are two minor nits: the arrows rattle around in his quiver and he should have had a tighter gripping left hand. That's it. Otherwise the coolest version of Storm Shadow EVER produced.

I have him posed with his bow drawn, and I don't think there's ever been an archer figure that can hold the pose as realistically as this one. As an aside, do you think leaving him in that pose too long will stretch out the string? It happened with my LOTR Legolas, and I'm concerned it will happen here...

Cut down a small rectangle shaped piece of foam to hold the arrows in place in the pack.

For Ski and anyone else that may be interested...here are a few pictures on the Billy HT muscle body.

I didn't fully gear him up. I just threw the top and head on but a few things I noticed. You can't really tell in the pictures but the skin is too dark on the muscle body so it won't match the paler hands or face of SS. Also, you will have some work to do on the wrist pegs to get them to work.

I gotta say, yea poseablity will suck.... but that is a great look for storm shadow.

You got that right. Its like Sophie's Choice trying to decide whether to pose him in a martial arts pose with the chuks, bow drawn, or with both swords out.

I could seriously see myself changing his pose every day or two. Awesome figure!

or with a sword in one hand and a Shuriken in the other...or with two Shurikens ....or with one sword but both hands on it in front of him....or.....decisions, decisions!

This is a fun figure!

Displaay possibilities are endless here. With the undershirt, two belts, two heads, multiple weapons, brand new ninja pose hands. Damn they knocked SS out of the park!

i think so. i think i sat and played with storm shadow for about 2 hours tonight. i absolutely love the masked head sculpt.

couple quick ones (horrible back ground i know)...i need to fix his undertunic. it likes to bunch up.

I like the white on white here, Craw, really brings out the detail in the headsculpt!

he looks awesome! as cool as he is fully clothed. nostalgia beckons me to put him on a muscle body

my local store here in Toronto takes so long to get things!! i have him pre-ordered and he's not it stock yet!! i'm jealous of those of u who already have him!! i sooo can't wait to get him!!
