“Thanks for your email. I’ve checked with our production staff and our retail division returns staff, and neither have heard of a common issue with the legs being too loose.
Unfortunately, I don’t have replacements available at this time. Of course, if the customer is dissatisfied with the item we can arrange to return for a refund.”
Hey I told my local retailer about the loose leg Storm Shadow and he sent sideshow a email about the loose bodies here is the reply!!!!
Here is the response that I got from Sideshow about Storm Shadow:
So sideshow is saying they know nothing about any problems with the pro bodies? No one is complaining about it??? Maybe I was mistaken but I didn't think I was the only one. I guess the one way to get by is for sideshow to deny???? Makes me think twice about buying.
i think they may have meant stormshadow specifically.
regardless, you need to forward that to the ask sideshow forum.
Tell you what, you trade me your tight figures for my loose ones, and you can prove to us how much better you are than the rest because you aren't complaining. Otherwise, shut your hole please. Thanks. They have tightened up the bodies with each release Cobra Commander and the trooper have wonderfully tight joints, there are more Pro based figures out with tight joints than loose joints it's just that the people who do get loose joints don't stop whining about it.
all 4 of my Joes have great joints. all my armored figures have great joints too. i can't believe so many people keep saying they have issues.

Oh i'm sorry i thought i was allowed to post an opinion on a public board much the same as you did, i was only replying that while some people have had loose bodies most people have had tight figures. I myself have had loose figures my Indiana Jones is as floppy as anything but i have been lucky enough to recieve more tight figures than loose figures.
Well even still, genarally knowing about the pro despite the release you'd think they would ensure to tighten up on quality control every time it was used. Cmon Sideshow don't screw us

I think Lerath is correct. They're talking specifically about Storm Shadow (same happened to me with Cobra Commander). If it bothers you that much, have the retailer exchange yours with a better one and let them ship that back for a refund. In a sense what you're doing is blaming Sideshow for the retailer's poor customer service.
To be fair Kar, he has a point. How many people out of the whole edition size are complaining about loose joints? The 25 or so (give or take) of us picky bastards here don't constitute a good majority of that at all.
To the fair also, this board represents such a small sample size that to say the majority has tight joints is rather silly as well. Both of my Storm Shadows have loose joints at the waist and hip area. It does appear to be a problem especially considering the price of the figures. Never had as much problem with a 20 dollar Hasbro figure. Just saying.

Okay... how is the retailer gonna do that when he's sold out and doesn't have a better one (in snake eyes case) to send and why is that the issue when sideshow is producing the figures the retailers are selling? They are rightfully to blame if the issue(s) is pretty standard across various releases no matter how seldom or frequent. The retailers customer service was excellent, he sold me the right figure in brand new condition and got it to the right address well packaged and undamaged. The fact that it can't stand up is a problem that goes back to production.
So here's a better idea... how about sideshow just take note of the issue(s) we bring to there attention and make better bodies in all their figures for everyone? Instead of some of us wether great or few in number get the luck of the draw.
It really is a great idea ... how bout a little support people??
