finally got to open Storm Shadow today, very cool! I like the white belt because it makes the stars tucked in his belt stand out. He looks really cool posed with the bow and arrow. The shoes are sorta goofy looking. maybe a little too big?

all around cool figure.

Here's a quick shot of my heavily in progress Tommy on the new Wesker TT

dsc00667oc.jpg

I was going to use it for Snakes, but since Sam did that one, I was really curious to see what Storm Shadow would be like on it. He cuts a very imposing figure now imo. I'm going to hook him up with shin and forearm wraps today ala Mando, and give him a sleeve-less under shirt.

After I put him together, I briefly thought about undoing it and going back to giving it to SE. Now I can't bring myself to, and hopefully MD or somebody will stock some more Wesker TT's soon

I'm pretty sure they're going to release a buffer true type. I think that Christmas exclusive from Hot Toys is a sneak preview of things to come.

I think if they released a completely modular one, they'd sell more. One that utilizes the slim base with extenders for the wrists and ankles that you could dress out from a slim TT all the way to an Arnold-sized TT would be the perfect 1-stop for everybody needing a replacement body.

Oh, I'm sure it'll be the next TT release (I think its also the same as the Wesker?). But I'm such an impatient SOB when it comes to customizing/bashing, theres no way I can wait that long for another

It's the same build as the Wesker, except they gave it muscular legs too.

HT better do something about the lower legs. That body is suffering from the same vitamin deficiency Stallone has, no Calvesatall. :monkey4:monkey4:monkey4
you fought me tooth and nail when I said SSC's arms are too skinny and not realistically detailed enough (considering many figures wear short sleeves)!
But you criticize HT's legs? How many figures do you pose in shorts or otherwise with legs exposed? The thin ankles at least make it more realistic when boots are placed on so that they aren't huge clunkers.

They were still in proportion to the buck and the limitations a necessary evil to that particular body. This is entirely different. What's the point of beefing up a body if you're not going to go all the way and beef up the legs? Sculted forearms, bigger biceps and tri's; they lazied out by just doing the quads. Boots or no, these figures are going to look ridiculous in tight clothes, and for some reason most of the 1:6 pants on the market expose the skinny legs. This will be even more apparent on figures utilizing wrap-around knee pads.

Looks as if that new TT is a shade shorter then the current HT TT... Not sure if I'm bothered by that but it might make porting Pro figures over to TTs a little less problematic in terms of how clothing fits.

I recently tried Cobra Commander on a Narrow TT but the sleeves on his outfit were about a 1/4 inch too short.... he's back on the Pro now....

I agree it may be really noticable on tight tight clothing like superheroes or something. But who knows, they might come out with special legs when they ever do those type of figures, but I don't think it would be apparent on a military or normal civilian clothing figure.

Swap him to a Slim TT. Clothes fit better.

Again, depends on the knee pads. If you blouse the pants, you're gonna get an extremely narrow pinch between the knee and the top of the boots. From the side, you'll see it regardless of which pants you use. :(

A muscular TT designed for tight clothing would be really cool. I imagine with Spiderman movie figures on the way they must be cooking up something similar for him.
