they just don't really hold them. they rest more or less loosely. I'd like to have a set that actually grips them better. Personal preference is all.
 
i'm really hoping the forthcoming TTs have Aldo/gripping hands as I'm a little burnt out on the trigger hands. Truthfully the Soldier Story ones are better sculpts.
 
Funny you guys mentioned this. When I cracked open the box and started to set him up for display I was thinking, wth kind of jacked up hands are these...

In Kenjutsu, we learned to hold it multiple ways. Thumb-forefinger usually found your bokken flying across the dojo if feinting a strong blow. :wink1:
