Funny how that happens... but definitely make sure you BOTH want a child before even considering it. It's hands-down the biggest challenge you will ever undertake in your life, and being a mom is no walk in the park. You need a VERY strong partnership before becoming parents, imo, and you both need to be 100% committed to the idea of becoming 2nd fiddle. It is definitely no longer all about you once a baby enters the picture! Plus, anything can happen, and you can't 'return' the kid :horror You are stuck with whatever comes out, be it angel or be it devil :lol

Thats what scares me.. I am probably way to selfish to be a dad. And knowing my luck since my brother (who was the devil of us two) has 2 pretty good kids I'll end up with the devil kids. :D

funny I've often drawn a little picture of my son and jokingly coloured him in to the 90% evil line like lilo and stitch. If he's trouble I blame my wife, she's the red head, must be her fault. Seriously kids are a ton of work, we waited until the finances were in order and we had someplace to keep them. I've taught to long in an inner city school and seen to many broken homes and kids that I knew what I didn't want.

I LOVE the stuff Joss does... except for Buffy. I just couldn't get into it. I think the main problem was I didn't really like any of the characters. I've seen isolated episodes I liked, Hush and Once More With Feeling, but the ongoing story never really pulled me in. :(

Maybe I should give it another chance?

Yes give it another chance, once you get past season 1..while good can be slow it turns into a great series.

I'm glad I don't want any, though I love my 13 month old niece to death.

Honestly, I could care less about the story half the time. I just like the snarkiness in the writing and the "monsters of the week". The monster of the week episodes are by FAR the best. (like Hush, Once More With Feeling, etc.)... the ones you don't really need backstory to enjoy.

And I literally cannot stand Sarah Michelle Gellar. Something about her just rubs me the wrong way :sick  (apologies for those that love her) But for some reason, she doesn't grate as much during Buffy - I think it's a combo of the writing and the ensemble. Giles is the glue. Any episodes without Giles suffer greatly.

Awww I won't hate you because you work for SSC. I love SMG in Buffy.

That being said, I do love the Spike story line and the psychology behind it. It's pretty deep for a 'fun little show'. And I must admit that I love love love the Season 8 comics.

It's the nose.

Spike is definitely the best character in the show, in my opinion.

I started reading Season 8. I just cannot get into it. Might try it again later.

Season 6 of Buffy is definitely my favorite, since it had all the nerdy jokes and references with the evil nerd trio. Where else on tv can you see a vampire hold a Boba Fett action figure hostage to get his way? :rotfl:rotfl:lol

off topic, but is there any chance of dagger being added to the gc list Dusty?

Will ask, but not sure that we have many of those left, and didn't it start shipping fairly recently (ie: don't hold your breath at this time... but since it was a wholesale item as well, ie: retailers could purchase, there's a chance some may come back from them, so it's possible in the future) :duff
