That's awesome for everyone that won mistresses new stuff last night. BUT, does anyone know how it's going to work with the last two contests she had on sideshow? I think after the 75 winners there were two more chances that were posted for like 25 winners or something. I'm just curious...

In those last 2 chances, were we supposed to get email confirmations if we won? I thought I had entered everything accurately and fast enough in the third chance, but never got any confirmation. Of course there's always the possibility that I didn't win.

wow..same guy won both years?!

The last big prize at the end was a bit weird... MadCow was also clearly first on my screen (There was actually 4 typed answers between his and the winner's answers) and his was correctly spelled. The mods were very adamant that spelling had to be exact, but the winner's answer was missing the - in pin-up. I know it's silly to harp on that, but a couple of people did miss prizes for spelling errors.

I certainly don't feel it was rigged at all (it took a long time for the answer to show up, it was a hard question and there was LOTS of time for other people to answer), but I do feel it's a shame it was a bit marred by a weird call. If anything, they should have re-done it to ensure a clear winner. Anyhow, Bari won and I'm sure he's very happy and I don't see any of this reflecting on him at all. Dennis made the call so congrats on his awesome score.

Ah well.. all I know is I completely choked on the question and am still Big Babyless

The ONLY thing I would change about spook would be the inconsistency in what counts as the "right" answer for the chat contests. Sometimes, spelling and other things have to be dead on; other times, not so much.

• I watched someone win with a misspelled word, and then I lost about two contests later for switching around two letters.
• The Creature From the Black Lagoon bust was won by someone who called it "Creature Of the Black Lagoon".
• Sometimes, exact wording counted and other times it didn't. One question asked for the dimensional weight of an item. I missed that one by one person because I posted "17 lbs". The person in front of me posted 17, with no unit of measure at the end, and won. Meanwhile, I watched someone lose later because a random number had made its way to the beginning of a name they posted, and spelled exactly.
  

Basically, what I'm saying is the chat is always a kind of gamble, based on a variety of different factors. I do not envy the people making the calls on who is the winner, because there will be whiners and complainers all the time. I think they work incredibly hard to make this event successful, and there are always bound to be hiccups.

Wow, its crazy to see some of the winnings some people got. I entered every contest I cared about and was in the chats almost every night...still came up empty handed and all I wanted was a chainsaw killer...even requested a broken one, lol. I guess next year I'll be asking for him again :chew
