Quick update on the new cabinet I purchased for THE BOSSK FROM THE BOSS!

I'm now on my 3rd Aspvik from Ikea. The display isn't finished but here it is for now. Don't mind the darkness in the cabinets in the photo. For some reason these cabinets don't photograph well and there is much more light inside in person.

BTW... I am getting rid of a few items from the old display so watch for a Vintage 12-inch Boba Fett going up for sale soon.

Those cabinets are pretty sweet! I may have to think about getting some of those next time I go by Ikea... which is 4 hours away... :(

I received my prize from Chicky as well. I was shocked to get Executive Officer Kane! Not only is it a great prize, but it's something I actually WANTED and was planning on buying! I don't know if Chicky remembered me posting somewhere that I wanted Kane, or if she truly has a crystal ball, but I'm very happy and extremely surprised. Thanks again Chicky and Sideshow!!!

Sweet! Glad to hear it. And for about 70 of us 75 waiting for our prizes, we wont see them till the first/second week of December. So the thread lives on....

I dont mind waiting at all.... just makes waiting even more exciting and if its coming the first week of December that would be great as my Birthday is Decembert 5th...:chew:D officer Kane cough cough hahaha

That's horrible! I went through something similar over here at my 2 family home. I caught a kid that lived down the street sitting on my front porch trying to pry open a package that was left behind by UPS. Luckily there was no damage to the item and the kid didn't run off with the package (he ran home as soon as he saw me...not too bright). Of course, I knew where the child lived and I spoke up to the parents who unjustly defended their child (even with his wrongdoing). I simply told the boys parents that if I caught him in my yard again, I would call the police for trespassing.

Since that incident, I have packages sent to my parents house in the next town over. They have a rear porch in a secluded area where UPS has been dropping off packages safely and without fear of theft. Haven't had any problems yet.

Ah gone is the day of being allowed to give your kid a good wrap with a stick in public to get them in line. If my mom ever had someone come up to the house and complain that I did that type of thing when i was a kid she would have started swatting and ask questions later. Then if it was discovered I didn't do anything I would probably get the line 'well you shouldn't even look suspicious enough for anyone to blame you for anything! Since you got blamed you were probably doing something else you shouldn't have been doing!'

Glad to see that were are almost at 1K posts. Hope everyone is getting their goodies. The last batch are going out in the next week!:banana
