This is why Spook stopped being fun for me a couple of years ago. It used to be a true celebration of horror and Sideshow's related products. Now it's mostly about people trying to win free stuff and Sideshow shilling swag disguised as "Readiness Kits". Meh.

Like pretty much everything else these days, it's become overdone and is losing the charm of what made it special to begin with.
