Because when things are slow and there isn't anything shipping, the statue crackhead will buy something just to keep the flow going. They rationalize it by saying to themselves (and others here) that the price was a good deal. Let it be from either ebay or one of the Sideshow many event sales like Spooktacular.

Come on, you should know that by now.

Sorry, I don't get that logic. With the economy in the tank and these pieces getting more expensive by the day, why would you spend big dollars on things you don't like? Picking this up at $300 doesn't make it look better.

I really didn't like the Hulk PF. The only way I would buy one is if I could flip it and sell it for a profit to someone who did. It will not be added to my display case. For me to list all the things I don't like about it and then add it to my collection later because I was able to pick it up at a cheap price...that would make me a hypocrite.

Too many people slam a piece and then HOPE the price will go down and pick it up. I'm of a simple mind....if you like something say it looks great. If you can't afford it, say you will pick it up later when the price is right or you have the funds. If you slam a piece...don't buy it! You are obviously telling everyone you don't like it. If you don't like it at first, but see it later and change your mind...major props to you. It takes a lot to admit you made a mistake and buy a piece you didn't like before.

Vex and Enigma take a lot of crap for slamming this piece. I don't mind their point of view. Unless, they pick it up later for a cheaper price!

For all of you that thought that Venom looked bad and you would be able to pick it up later at a cheaper price.....how is that working out for you now? Venom had the same issues with paint apps and doubt of scale.

So many people say the piece isn't all that....then they make comments about how they'll pick it up later for a cheaper price.

Why would anyone who thinks the piece is bad be looking to pick it up at all... regardless of the price?

Using a flash DESTROYS these pieces...period. Look at the Jack sparrow thread for proof on that.

Still looks awesome too me!!!this will make a bad ass display with the Skaar comiquette... But Sideshow needs to make their comiquette 1/4. No excuses.

Then he wouldn't go so well with this comiquette, would he?
By the way, I don't really get why you were sent on vacation from SF. That confused me a bit.

Some folks get it. Some folks don't. If it's night and you want to take pics, try using other lighting that compliments the piece. A flash will never achieve this.

I suggest you to not get it. If you don't like it but you will still get it, it means that Sideshow can fool us, collectors, as they wish, because people will still buy their products anyway.

Don't buy it and make your insatisfaction clear to them.

Do not get me wrong guys, I just hope i love this piece once i put my hands on it next week. I love the pose, the hair does not bother me at all as it is just one more representation of my favorite Marvel character.
The only thing that bothers me a lot is the Size as i was expecting a huge 24` Statue and had even prepared a special spot for it in my room and now i will be receiving a puny Hulk with the size of Jack Sparrow PF.
I agree that we cannot judge the painting just by the pictures of one member and i hope it looks much better in my hands. If i do not like it i just send it back to Sideshow.

Hopefully it shouldn't be unless they screwed with the gallery pic. Then again they may have elevated the base in the gallery pic to make him look taller. Hulkbuster's base looks like it goes down below Hulk's.
