not generally, but at least with the classic IM ssc has a great EX. feature and very detailed base that makes up for it. also the flag (though many hated it) added a great pressence to it

personally the base is almost as impressive as the statue itself, like the recent Psylocke and Lara Croft pieces.

now pieces like the Gambit PF and Ms Marvel, the main reason i didn't order them is because the bases just plain sucker imo.

Yeah, I agree with you. Many collectors don't like the base to "outshine" the statue itself. I think a great and detailed base only adds to the appeal of the statue that is placed upon it. I admit that I questioned the flag on the classic IM at first, but now having it since its release, I have grown to love every aspect of this fine piece of statuary.

of course not...the Abomination PF is wayyyy too big. he's nearly 1/3.He's even too big for the hulk PF.
