The problem with the hair is NOT that it's short, it's that it is poorly done.

Looks like he just came from the barber and not a massive fight.

It looks like a dead cat on top of his head, no detail, no texture, no depth, especially when the rest of the statue screams intensity.

Having said that, of course I bought it.

The problem with the hair is NOT that it's short, it's that it is poorly done.

It looks like a dead cat on top of his head, no detail, no texture, no depth, especially when the rest of the statue screams intensity.

Having said that, of course I bought it.

,,, wouldnt a dead cat have a lot of detail and texture due to the potential patchiness of fur due to decomposition and lack of overall uniformity to his coat?
A dead cat would also compare to the end result to battle. A death as the result of torturous war and brutal standoffs. Nothing near the look of a being fresh from the barber chair?

.. or maybe I mistook the wording as a well thought out post whose content actually contained useful information?

Man I gotta say that loking at this piece for the past couple of days I can't get over how much I love it. It's perfect. In fact is Sideshow sent out a message to all those who preordered it and gave us the choice to keep the hair or change it and they would send you the style of your choice, I am 99% positive I would keep it as is.

I love everything about this piece. The pose is so dramatic and different. Not the usual/boring pose that we have all seen a million times before. The face sculpt is perfect and I have never had an issue with the head size. The paint is spot on. Man I love the teeth on this baby also.

I don't ever say this from just looking at photos but I think this will be my fav. statue in my room. Much is due to the pose. It's just so life like.

I really can't praise this piece enogh. I hope the end product comes out looking as great. I use to own the Hulk PF but never fell in love with it. This looks like IMO the ultimate Hulk to own. I will not be displaying him with any other marvel statue. This bad boy deserves a spot all to himself with nothing else to distract the eyes.

i didnt get an email but i still love the piece. i think a bit longer hair would help, but no too longer. It wasnt a deal breaker for me i love it.

I like this piece, and since I can get the reg for 100 dollars cheaper than the ex (sorry prints are not worth 100 to me) and the fact I own a Hulk PF, among a bunch of other Hulk pieces, I can wait it out a bit more. I don't know if getting this would be relevant. I am in contemplation mode.
