haha on flip in every post ripping on the PF and hyping the comm like no tomorrow....sorry but I would rather have the massive 1/4 scale PF over the 1/5-1/6 scale commiquette any day.

Look at this Massive Masterpiece..this is the best Hulk Ever !!

If you just had to pick one it would be the PF, I am fortunate that I will have a lot of HULK in my collection.

The sideshot of the PF Hulk has always been perfect IMHO. However it's the straight on shot that I have never liked. i don't like the look on the face or the pose from straight on. He just looks slow moving and confused in that pose.

But I can understand the love for the PF. It's massive. And if you love old school Kirby style Hulk then this is the piece to own. I sort of wish I never had to sell mine but i was strapped for cash at the time. However I would probably be selling it now to make room for the new piece. Every time I see a photo of the new com. it takes my breath away. Just a perfect piece IMO and that's just from the photos. Everyone who saw it at SDCC says it's even greater in person. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I'm not ripping anything. Just stating my opinion. Just like you guys get to say it looks great....I get to say otherwise.

I'm also not hyping the Hulk comiquette. Just stating how much I love the piece. This is the Hulk to me. Angry and raging.

I have no problem with someone saying they love their Hulk PF. I have said on many occasions that if you LOVE the Kirby Hulk the PF is for you. It is a perfect representation of that Hulk.

I can't stand the Kirby Hulk. IMHO he is a slow Ape looking character. The modern Hulk is all rage and motion. A force of nature to be feared. The comiquette captures THAT Hulk perfectly. A differnce in taste.

This is the Hulk comiquette thread. If PF owners come here and state the PF is better you can't be surprised that someone doesn't agree with you... I don't.

How much is that Gorilla in the window?

Both the PF and the Comm (from what i've seen in pictures) are Amazing!!! you really can't go Wrong with either.

just cause you like the more modern styling of the Comm better does NOT mean the PF is Sh it!!!

sorry that wasn't directed at you just a general comment, i agree, everyone has different tastes, i for one don't hate the kirby Hulk but....i don't like it as much as modern Hulk, i perfer the Comm styling more myself as oppossed to the PF.

2 reasons being i perfer my statues to be fully sculpted and the more modern version is more my taste (when speaking about the Hulk)

one thing you can't argue over though is the PF is an Outstanding piece and is just sculpted beautifully

This is not an argument! If someone disagrees it's not to change anyones mind. They are just expressing an opinion. I do so sometime in a poking and joking matter. Hence the smileys and winks at the end of my statements. Jeez...why so serious?

It all boils down to buy what you like. I LOVE this Hulk comiquette. The only thing SS needs to do is quit F'n around with the scale. Make ALL these marvel pieces the same scale. This way you can mix and match whatever you collect. This Hulk should be 1/4 scale for those that didn't buy the PF because they wanted a modern Hulk.

Agreed. So long as you don't mind the wacky hairstyle that no recognizable incarnation of Hulk ever had, with a head 20% smaller than it should be.

Seriously, apart from that, I really dig this statue. Well, that and the scale of course. I was disappointed with the Comiquette because I was an advocate for the more modern, "aggressive" Hulk look. But this misses the mark. A couple of nice shots don't take away from the fundamental issues that this statue has, IMO.

The head doesn't bother me at all. Do I wish the hair was a little longer? Sure, but it is not a point of contention for me.

Can I ask what part of his face do you feel isn't pissed off, aggressive, or angry? IMHO the pose and face in this piece screams aggressive and raging.

As for the scale, we can only let SS know how we feel about the topic. I perfer 1/4 scale on all SS marvel pieces. However, I would even settle for 1/5 scale comiquettes if I had to. What drives me nuts is that SS mixes up its comiquette scales between 1/4 and 1/5 all the time. That causes all kind of display problems for me because I collect pretty much comiquettes only. Complaining about this feels like beating a dead horse. SS obviously doesn't care.

Fair enough. Besides the length of the hair, I think it does an excellent job of capturing the modern Hulk. To each their own I guess.

I haven't seen any hate for the PF Hulk so far. PF Hulk owners just can't handle all the loving the comiquette is receiving.

That is so cool that you actually saw the piece in person. I live in Chicago so I won't see this in person until my Ex arrives. The videos from SDCC were amazing. I loved the way SS displayed him by himself. He received the true Rock Star status he deserves. I am sooo loving the Olivetti line. I'd go broke if I picked up every statue I like in this line. Gore Group and Olivetti = MASSIVE WIN!

I hear ya...I am also loving the Olivetti line. The Punisher and Venom Comiquettes are two of my favorite pieces in my collection. Really looking forward to getting Hulk and pairing him up with my Hulkbuster.

The Punisher and Venom Comiquettes are two of my favorite pieces in my collection.

The Punisher comiquette holds a special place in my collection. It is my favorite SS comiquette. It is just that good. I don't need any other Punisher statue after picking up the Olivetti Punisher. As I said before, I missed the boat on Venom. I do like the piece. I also feel this is the best Venom statue out there. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to pick it up down the line.

From the pics and videos Spidey and Hulk look spectacular. The Hulk comiquette in particular may go down as my favorite statue. I can't wait to get it already.

One can make a legit argument that every statue in this line seems to be the "best" of the character that was released. This whole line has been full of great sculpts. Man... I hope Thor, Cap and Apocalypse get put in this line. Can you imagine how great those pieces would look in the hands of Olivetti and the Gore group?!
