I call BS, both the regular and the crappy print will fetch about the same price regardless cause seriously that bish is ugly.

nope....not true...Many people only want the ex for the sake of it being an ex and cause its more limited, even if its just a freaking # on the base..for example,I would never have bought a reg of this even if I dont like that print.Experience tells the smart collector to always by the ex.

But I agree that the reg will also have a great resale value but ex is the one to get if you're into flipping.

yep, couldn't of said it better myself.
i buy ex. all the time, even though i never turn on the lights, swap out features or display the prints. it's strictly for the most part the lower ES that i'm in it for.

Once or if this comiquette ever hits that $1,000 secondary market threshold, that's when most will start to view the print as a work of art. It's funny how things start to look a lot better when it has a high price tag behind it.

Ok, guys I am in the market to get a Venom! I got one but it got damaged before being mailed so I am back in the ring again!!

Such a shame! I got the Abomination and just about everything else at SDCC last year, but I neglected to buy this! Now I am kicking myself since the new Spiderman will be out sometimes next year.

So if anyone wants to sell theirs pass me a PM!

I really wanted the exclusive, but today I called a couple comic stores and was told they have the reg in stock now I'm just waiting for the shipping price and some pics to make sure its the right one.So what do you guys think is a good price for the reg version?

Comic shops will usually charge a bit more than retail. BUT, sometimes they run deals like 10% off, so ask if they have any specials going on. My comic shop has Venom as well. I don't see this going up in value by a decent increase for a while.

I am gonna regret not getting this piece. Not sure if this piece grows on me or because of all the great talk. Problem is, I am not a great fan of the Spidey's Universe. Only Spidey himself. Hope the up-coming Spidey comiquette is just as good or better than this Venom.

I just remembered back in Feb. I had put myself on the wait list for the ex so I logged into my account to see if anything new happened and the status shows up as "Processing". I've never ordered from ss before except for the po I put in for Carnage which also says "Processing". I also put myself on the list for Captain America at the same time as Venom and it still shows up as "Reservation Submitted". Anyone know whats going on?

The economy is getting better. I just wonder how long collectors are going to keep trying to use the economy. If you have a enough to by one statue then you are doing alright in my books.
