Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Selling my regular Venom right now since i just lost my job yesterday

Ouch, man you lost your job on New Year? My New Year resolution is to slow down on purchase and pay away my credit card and other bills.

What you do anyway?

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

may i ask how much did you pay for it?:peace

Ah, could be a season thing. They hire more before Christmas and New Year and downsize after? Especially in retail type of business. I think the good news is you can recover/find a new position fairly easy.

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Sorry to hear about the job, at least you are being very positive about it :D Good luck :)

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Sorry to hear about the loss of your job at this time Merc, but it sounds like you're ready for a change and sometimes losing a job like that gives you that extra push you need to get something a lot better.

I wish I could buy your Venom right now. I'm trying to sell some stuff, so if I'm able to succeed in doing that, I'll be sure to hit you up if Venom isn't sold yet.

Yeah I do have that extra motivation to find something better and I believe i will. Thanks for all your good wishes my fellow freaks.:1-1:

I'm trying my hardest NOT to sell my Venom, as it is probably my fav. statue. But if it comes down to it, if i have to, i will :monkey2

Umemployment man....no shame in it. I rely on it for a full year. I've been working on this position for 6 months now. And pays a little more too. With better benefits.

You should hold on to Venom if you can. I would hate to see you have to part with something you really love because of this situation.

Mr. Green is right, you should file for unemployment until you find something better. It will take some of the pressure off of you as you look for a new job. After all, that's what it's there for and you paid into funding it when you were working.

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

yeah the 2 statues i wanna keep are my venom com. and my Bowen Deadpool.

I will look into unemployment but i dont think they will give it. Florida is strict with unemployment

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Just got it in the mail this morning...It is absolutely beautiful...Stunning piece...

I noticed that his right foot does not entirely rest on its base, there is a 1mm gap between the base of the foot and the base.
Like he is sort of hanging on his left leg...Is this normal?
I took him in his box again until I make sure he doesn't snap carrying all the weight on his one leg.

Re: Sideshow/ Olivetti - Venom Comiquette

Right foot should go all the way into the base. I remember on mine, it didn't go in all the way at first but cleaned some glue/junk off the post near the statue base and then went in fine.

Thnx man!
I will try that and post the results later...

Also I noticed a reddish tint on his eyes and spider logo on his torso... Is it also normal?

Still can't get it to touch down... It's like he is a bit too front heavy and rocks on the left foot. I have tied it down for now to let it sink in for a couple of days and will see...
Also, I cleaned both the peg and the hole, but nothing....
