What's wrong with being fixed?
Nah I'm not though, planning on having children.
I have 2 sons myself and I'll tell you one thing.....NOTHING beats having kids! My first little guy comes in my room and has a blast naming off all my statues. I have about 40 FS pieces. Since he's only 2 1/2 years old I think that's great that he knows all their names. I need someone else in the house to share this hobby with. After all....who else can I leave all these beautiful statues to?

when i first started collecting my son was about 5-6, now he's almost eight and really enjoys them. only problem is when ever i show him new pieces that ssc or anyone else has released he wants me to order all of them. he doesn't quite get the space to cost ratio equation. what ever that is.

It's so cool to see them when a new piece comes in. My oldest is so excited when he sees the box. He just keeps yelling "Daddy open" over and over. It feels like christmas EVERY time!
they might think it's weird that there friends father/mothers do not collect Sideshow memorabilia 
Those are pretty cool stories, I like hearing that ppl share their passion with their family and that their kids really enjoy these great pieces, it will be a lasting memory I'm sure as they grow older. Whenever they meet anyone else's family that is normal
we had about 15 people over this christmas and only a few new kids that hadn't seen my collection.........well it was so funny to watch them just sit there and stare for the longest time, then they wouldn't shut up asking who this was and who this was
but they sure showed an interest in the characters.
