Ok. By now, many people have gotten their General kenobi, and their Indy ROTLA figures. Sideshow, I must say that the New bodies are miles ahead of the buck body, and we love you for improving them. they were a long time coming, and I'm certian they required some severe R&D to get where they are. They do, however have a serious failing that needs to be addressed. that being the loose joints. Sideshow, please, please PLEASE do something about this, as it is, to be quite honest, unacceptable. i know that we, your fanbase and your customers are rather demanding at times, but i think that in this case, our concernes are justified. the entire point of a 1/6th figure over a 1/6th statue is posability. the ability to pose the figure in multiple iconic poses, and thus create an entirely new display piece whenever the mood strikes us is what draws in many 1/6th collectors. The inability of the armor body, as well as the pro to maintain these poses due to the "wet noodle" nature of their joints is therefore frustrating, not to mention disapointing. I'm not an engineer, so i've not got any idea what it is that is causing the problem, but havin a few volks bodies, and a few hot toys bodies 9 which are both very simular to your bodies) and not having had these types of problems indicates that it is likely some sort of manufacturing problem. even Your hobbit boddies from the LOTR line do not have this problem. Please, We are begging you here, fix this. We have faith in your ability to adress this issue, and continue delivering quality product. Perhaps we should look at this like a speed bump, and as when dealign with the speed bump, one should slow down and take it easy to move over it. in other words, atleast in my opinion, i would much rather see any and all figures coming on the new bodies delayed while the loose joint issue is adressed, rather than have, for example, a snake eyes, or darth vader 1/6th that cannot hold thir gun, or dramaticly heft his lightsaber.

If anyone else has anything they would like to add to this, i encourage you. We must make this complaint heard, and hope that sideshow will take our concerns seriously.

I've never bought a SSC figure - Indy was the first I had on order. But for the amount that was being charged for it, along with the reports of loose joints and a couple of other issues, I have cancelled it, and am seriously considering doing the same to the two other pre-orders I have. It is disappointing, to say the least, to wait through multiple delays, to be hyped about my first product from Sideshow being on what apparently represents the pinnacle of their research, development and design skills, and then to make a decision to cancel because it does not seem to meet with the quality I would expect for the price I was being charged.

I've just received my Leia as Boush figure in preperation for the arrival of Han in Carbonite and noticed she had a very limp right leg. Now i've only paid approximately 50.00 USD for it so i'm not too fussed however word of similar (if not worse) problems fills me with a reluctance to spend more money on a (so called) higher end (defective) product...

I was close to cancelling Indy 1/6 but talked myself into keeping him. I think this might just convince me to cancel now.

Keep in mind that loose bodies is usually a piece by piece thing and how loose a 1/6th body is largely subjective. One man's "intolerable" is another man's "wow! cool!".

Most people are making assumptions based on 2nd hand information. I'd recommend you keep your orders and make a determination once you have it in hand yourself.

i've made a determination with the last 2 figures. everybody said they had loose joints and mine did too. not gonna try for a third. i cancelled indy cuz of this. sorry to do so but SS is gonna have to try harder. if Snake Eyes has the same problem i'll cancel him too.

I think it's become pretty apparent that, while there are degrees of looseness, every one who has received the prometheus so far agrees it is making posing, and holding a pose, very difficult. I think that most of us would agree that means it is too loose.

For a lot of us international guys, we rely on this sort of information to help make decisions, SSC's return policies would probably not cover shipping in the case of a loose-bodied Indy. So we'd be out the full cost of the figure in shipping charges. While I'd love the luxury of being able to make my decision from an in-hand product, that just won't happen.
