Original Hot Toys P2 Predator question

[Predator vs. Alien]

Ok people, I just recieved one in a trade, I have no plans on seliing it.

I am however curious as to how much its worth, its complete and assembled.

Any and all input it appriciated.

im not sure how much the regular p2 is woth l have the exclusive battle damage and selling it for $300 plus shipping and everyone says thats a good deal,and l know it is but the regular p2 l would say hes worth about $230 plus shipping in and around there.all depends on how much someone wants to pay for it.some people liked the reg p2 and some liked the battle damaga p2 better some not so it all depends.

You said it's complete with box? If so, I'm thinking about $275 to $325 or so. It's a pretty hard piece to find these days. I had sold a brand new one for $325 on ebay more than a year ago. So the value has got to have gone up by now.

no $325 is pretty steep for the reg.your fist guess $275 is more like it.

I've seen the regular go for around $250-$270 loose but I remember that they were not complete and/or something was broken then fixed. I guess $325 would be a good price for one that's never been opened or never assembled. Loose, I'd agree with $275 or so too.

Oh and not to mention that with Predators on the horizon, value for Hot Toys Preds will definitely rise. Look what Salvation did for the T-800 Endoskeletons. They were around retail for years, then BOOM! Salvation is announced and everyone wants one. Prices got jacked up to an insane amount! I'm just saying, it might happen to the HT Preds also.

Damnit, that comment reminded me of that time I saw a 100 euros HT T-800 endo at a convention and didn't pick it up. I was afraid that it would be too fragile for something that 'costly'.

Yea but I remembered more than a few people complaining about the color of the blood on how it was too dark. Some people just want to have the iconic, non-damaged P2. I prefer both, so I got both.

yeah, i got both and ended up getting rid of the bd and kept the cool accessories.
to me, there is such a thing as too many predators. i like to keep my collection as diverse as possible.

I got all of them. Except the Ani-com Scar. It's not worth what they charge for it. I'll just have a Scar Pred head customized into a Scar head or something. No need to pay like almost a grand for a HT fig.

I paid $190 for mine, MIB unassembled. When I got it, almost ALL the other ones I saw for sale were near the prices being quoted in this thread. So it depends. It's definitely worth more than the original selling price ($129.99) that's for sure.

that's what my p2 lost pred cost and the regular p2 is pretty much the same figure with different accessories and paint app.

if the p2 had a nice light up feature like the p1 i could understand paying $200 for it.
but as it is, it just isn't a $200 figure to me.

No I know.. I'm saying it's worth now at the very least more than the original price. I've yet to see an Original P2 go for $129.99 + s&h now days. So even if it's sold right now for let's say $150, that's still more than the original price. Wolf (all versions) that lost pred you're talking about and even the P1 have been out for a minute and I've seen all of them sold for basically retail at one point or another. Haven't seen that with P2 (original or BD) or with the P2 Elder, Scar, Celtic or Chopper. Those figures never sell for retail.

So even if you don't think it's a $200 to $200+ figure.. at the very least it'll never be sold for the original price of $129.99.

no p2 pred has sold for $129 in years,that was the original cost. yesterday l sold my p2 pred for $310 plus shipping and l got the buyer 10 min after l listed him and in the morning l had 7 pms from members here wanting to buy him and they all said that was a good price.so they have almost trippled in price since release.and thats already assembeled not mint in box
