There was also another (Canadian?) film I liked from a few years back, that was to do with a bunch of loggers out in some remote location, chopping down trees for some corporation, & the sap had some virus in it that turned people if they were infected by it.
There were protestors out there as well, & it all went pear shaped pretty quick. Sections of the forest were quarantined, & little communities of survivors spread out over time. The loggers made a fortress to keep out the infected, & had zombies chained up & fighting each other for sport.
I think the film's title was the virus number or something.
