Easy fix. Don't ever watch it and continue to use your imagination.

But "most people" don't wanna use their imagination, they need more movies to take that responsibility for them.
And when you'll try to talk sense during some discussion they'd be like "Hey! That's not how it works according to the prequel."

You forgot to put IMO before that comment because you don't speak for everyone.
Your opinion is yours, no need to put IMO somewhere in there to know it.

There was also another (Canadian?) film I liked from a few years back, that was to do with a bunch of loggers out in some remote location, chopping down trees for some corporation, & the sap had some virus in it that turned people if they were infected by it.

There were protestors out there as well, & it all went pear shaped pretty quick. Sections of the forest were quarantined, & little communities of survivors spread out over time. The loggers made a fortress to keep out the infected, & had zombies chained up & fighting each other for sport.

I think the film's title was the virus number or something.

Severed.

I'll watch this if it gets made. It can't be any worse than Diary or Survival. Also the original trilogy is awesome.

When you say "most people" where do you get that from? Seems overly broad with no definitive proof of it being "most people".
Maybe it's "most People" in this thread. I totally agree with that.
