It's new this year, but I like it, it's better than just reading their names and announcing the winner.

man, i totally loved that opening musical number! the dig at the reader was hilarious, u could tell hugh was trying really hard not to burst into giggles throughout.

and benjamin button is a worthy effects winner. all the nominees were top-notch this yr, but button was truly groundbreaking. made up for friggin narnia winning a few yrs ago.

I've always been a big Penn fan and as for Rourke you need to understand the Academy. They reward actors for "playing the game" if you follow me. Mickey Rourke doesn't look like the kind of guy that "plays the game"
