Thanks for the kind words!

This first piece here is a comission I did for a friend of mine, who is a HUGE modern horror fan, I just completed it:

I did this one shortly after I saw SUPERMAN RETURNS. It is only recently completed:

And here's one I did today for the Claude Rains fans out there:

Please let me know what you think! :)

Nice work. I really like the Batman drawings and the portraits of Frankenstein and the Phantom.

I don't really like the modern horror drawing because there isn't a theme and doesn't really represent anything in particular. The Batman drawings worked well 'cause you followed a comic type theme and the portraits work well for what they are.

The modern horror looks like something any fanboy would draw in their free time but without any real motivation for what they are drawing. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it looks amateurish especially compared to your other work. I think a caricature type of feel would have worked better in this case but that is just my opinion and criticism since you asked for it. Once again nice work.

Thanks! No, I completely understand why you would feel that way about the modern horror piece. It was just a goofy commission for a friend of mine, who wanted to show the different horror characters having a party.
I recently showed it to him, and he loved it, and that is all tht matters.

You got that right. Shows a lot of character to take criticism so elegantly as well. Look forward to viewing your future work. :)

This is another commission, and one for all of you Freddy fans out there!

Whaddayathink?

Here is a watercolor piece I've just finished, of what I imagined Ian Fleming's original James Bond character to look like. I didn't think too much of the Hoagy Carmichael description, so I instead based him on another famous personality: the one Golden Age actor who SHOULD have been James Bond:

I want to know if you guys can tell who the visual inspiration was for it.

I hope you like it!
