i am so glad that I have the Savage Hulk variant by Bowen. Hit it right on the spot for me.

I have it too. Its my only Bowen and i think it's great, but I will be getting one, maybe two of these as well... Not rhulk.

I'm up in air now on ph

I'm not freaking out about it. If it is 1/5 scale it will not fit in with my collection and I can breathe a sigh of relief. If it is 1/4 scale I will need to have it.

:exactly: my thoughts. I came close to dropping over £1000 on the Kirby Hulk & I'm not even that much of a fan of that style but I really want a classic Hulk in my collection. A grey to, what a bonus that would be. I really hope these are PF's if not they will be a pass

Couldn't have come at a better time. No need to pursue the 2,000 dollar original PF any longer. Just saved 1400 bucks :yess:

Now you know what it feels like to be a vet in this hobby. You get in at ground level. Then you set back and watch all the newbie's cry about all the money it's gonna take to catch up add their favorite characters to their collection...:1-1:

That is some good saving though!

Heck yeah! Way I see it I could buy two (assuming a grey variant) and come out of this with cheddar to spare. This thread just made my day!

Absolutely! I have paid the prices to catch up (with very little whining) and now ill finally have some brown shippers with my name on them as opposed to some random name of a guy that knew a guy that bought his from SS . Just awesome :hi5:

Yeah that must be nice. It's all about patients in this hobby because your character will turn up again eventually. I did go back & buy the original Spidey CQ plus the Captain America & Thor PF's which I don't regret at all. Being a collector I would want some of the old school pieces in my collection.

Completely agree with this statement. I own the original cap and paid the price for him. Never had a regret. Same thing with Gambit and Wolverine. Cap is still my favorite of all the 1/4 scales. I was looking into Hulk and spidey as well but now with the new comiquette and PF on the horizon I have much cheaper options that I will be just as content with at a 1/4 of the price. If only I could see into the future.....

We as vet's appreciate the non-whining while getting your collection together. You just paid your collectors dues and we all had to do it at some point time when we joined the hobby.

Welcome to our world..."may the collecting force be with you from here on out"

Oh man, when I started buying statues I had to go back like a champ and add these hogs to my collection...

Dr. Doom PF Ex.
X-Men vs. Sentinel #1 Ex.
Wolverine Comi' Ex
Wolverine vs. Sabretooth (no EX though...:() All in about month of starting to collect.

Just those alone almost ran me close to $5grand. Plus not getting left behind with all the new stuff that was coming out then. That's when SSC was keeping to release dates or months.

I had no patience when I started. I was just spending like crazy. I'm glad that I'm long past those days.

Ha ha yeah that would be nice. I must admit I don't think I will be going back anymore searching for old pieces. I've got the characters I really want. The only character I keep thinking about getting now is the Venom CQ. Like you I've been looking out for a Hulk PF but no need now & with a new Doom PF looking promising, well :yess:

Yep, this hobby is great, there's always going to be new people who start collecting and joining the community...that's what I always find most enjoyable about this or any interests in general.

Since joining these forums in April, I've added a Venom com, a back in black Spidey, a Wolverine PF (EX), a Joker PF (EX), a Doom PF, and a Thor PF (EX). I think I'm done catching up now...hopefully.
